  1. Millinium Development Goals
    1. In September 2000, United nations Millinium Declaration aiming at reducing extreme poverty was adopted by world leaders in New York.
    2. It introduced a series of 8 time-bound targets known as the Millinium Development Goals to be achieved by2 2015.
    3. The 8 Millennium Development Goals:
      1. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.
      2. Achieve universal primary education.
      3. Promote gender equality and empower women.
      4. Reduce child mortality.
      5. Improve maternal health.
      6. Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other disease.
      7. Ensure Environmental Sustainability.
      8. Develop a global partnership for Development.
  2. Sustainable Development Goals:
    1. Came into effect in 2016. target to achieve by 2030.
    2. UNDP would help it to impliment in more than 170 countries.
    3. 169 targets aiming at 17 goals.
      1. No Poverty
      2. Zero Hunger.
      3. Good Health and Well being.
      4. Quality Education.
      5. Gender Equality.
      6. Clean water and Sanitation
      7. Affordable and clean energy
      8. Decent work and Economic Growth.
      9. Industry, innovation, and infrastructure
      10. Reduce Inequality.
      11. Sustainable cities and communities
      12. Responsible consumption and production
      13. Climate action
      14. Life below water.
      15. Life on land.
      16. Peace and Justice strong Institutions.
      17. Partnership to achieve goals.
