    1. The communication process is: Sender (coder) —– >(Message through a medium/channel) —–> Receiver (Decoder) ——-> Response/feedback to Sender (coder)
  4. Important Terms:
    1. Study of the role of Eye Contact: Oculesics
    2. Study of use of time: Chronemics
    3. Study of touch: Haptics
    4. Study of variation in pitch, speed, and volume and use of pauses to convey meaning: Paralinguistics
