  1. 1st Citizen
  2. Not a member of either house.
  3. Elected by electoral college:
    1. Elected members of the Parliament, state legislative assemblies, legislative assemblies of UTs of Delhi and Puducherry.
    2. Nominated members of both Parliamentary houses, Elected and nominated members of State Legislative Councils, nominated members of UTs Delhi and Puducherry are not eligible.
    3. Value of MLA vote = Total Population of the state/ Total elected MLA * 1/100
    4. Value of MP vote = Total value of MLA vote of all states/Total number of MP
    5. Electoral Quota = Total valid votes polled/2+1
  4. Qualification:
    1. Indian Citizen
    2. 35 age
    3. no office of profit
    4. Must not be a MP or MLA
  5. Oath:
  6. 5 year term, for any number of time.
  7. Impeachment can be initiated by either house of parliament: quasi judicial procedure:

    5. Diplomatic
    6. Military
    7. Emergency
